Garden Management Hierarchy
From your entire property down to a single plant, everything has its place. This structure helps you track data with precision.
1. Facilities
The highest level, representing your entire farm or property. All other items are organized within a facility.
Pro-Tip: Pro users can manage multiple facilities to track different properties or experimental sites separately.
2. Beds
Distinct growing areas within a Facility, like individual garden beds or fields. This is where your plants will live.
Pro-Tip: Use beds to compare performance between different areas, like 'Full Sun Plot' vs. 'Shaded Area'.
3. Plant Sets
A group of the same type of plant managed together within a Bed (e.g., 'Heirloom Tomato Patch').
Pro-Tip: Create different plant sets to test variables like fertilizer or watering schedules on the same plant type.
4. Plantings
A single plant within a Plant Set. Track data at the most granular level for high-value crops.
Pro-Tip: Attach photos and notes to individual plantings to monitor health and progress over time.
